Kim Delaney was an American actor from the United States. She is most famous for her role as the detective Diane Russell, in the ABC show NYPD Blue. For this she won an Emmy Award. Delaney was the sole child of an United Auto Workers executive and his wife, who was a domestic worker. Her childhood was spent in a family with four other brothers.
