Ky-Mani Marley was born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976 is among the most famous and rich Reggae singers. He was in Shottas the cult movie featuring Wyclef. Ky-Mani enlisted Shang Records where he recorded his first album in the year 1996. With Father Like Son and several singles including Judge Not With Patra then Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap Fit (remix) as well as Sensimelia all of which added to his rising popularity in the new generation of reggae singers. In 1997, Ky-Mani formed a band along with Praswell (Fugees) for Avenue a hit cover version of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley appeared in Midem (international music showcase) when it was held in Miami in the very first time. Marley gave a concert at the Cameo Theatre that was broadcasted live in 36 different countries. Marley was the target of auction warfare.
